Event summary
The AÇR Fitness Challenge is a hybrid competition combining running and various functional challenges, taking place on October 10 and 11, 2026, in Côja, Arganil, Portugal. The event features two formats: AÇR FULL on October 10 and AÇR HALF on October 11, with the latter being a reduced version of the full competition.
Participants can compete individually or in teams of two (male, female, or mixed pairs), with age categories ranging from 16 years and above. The race includes a sequence of running segments interspersed with functional stations such as sled push, burpees over log, wall balls, and weighted lunges, covering approximately 5.6 km in total for the full format.
The event emphasizes strict adherence to the order of stations and running segments, with penalties for infractions. It offers a competitive yet inclusive atmosphere without PRO categories, welcoming athletes with a minimum age of 16 years.
