Event summary
The Fire-Day Bombeiros Voluntários de Baltar is a physically intense endurance event held on October 17, 2026, at the Baltar Volunteer Firefighters’ station. It challenges participants with a demanding circuit combining running and strength exercises.
The event offers three categories: Single, Doubles, and a special Fire Challenge exclusively for firefighters equipped with their protective gear. Participants run 8 km interspersed with 8 different physical exercises, including SkiErg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jump, rowing, farmer’s carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls.
Open to the general public aged 16 and above, with parental authorization required for minors under 18. The event fosters a spirit of resilience, strength, and community, uniting civilians and firefighters in a day of adrenaline and challenge.

Bib pick-up time and location: At the Baltar Volunteer Firefighters’ station, days before and on event day from 6:30 until all starts are completed
Prizes: Podium for overall classification in each division (Women, Men, Mixed where applicable)
Toilets and aid station placement: Sanitary facilities and showers available
Cancellation & refund policy: The organization reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or postpone the event due to force majeure such as extreme weather, natural disasters, authority decisions, safety risks, or public health situations. If possible, the event will be held on the reserved date of October 18, 2026. Participants will be informed of any measures to be taken.
