Event summary
The 4th Edition of the Taça Oeste XCM BTT is an amateur mountain bike marathon event organized by MR3eventus, taking place in 2026. It features marathon and half-marathon distances of approximately 60 km and 40 km respectively, held on rural roads and trails.
The event is open to all participants aged 18 and over, with special provisions for minors with parental authorization. E-Bikes are allowed but only classified in the marathon category. The race is part of a series of four stages, with points awarded for overall and category rankings.

• Sub-23 (up to 23 years) Male Marathon and Half-Marathon
• Elites (24-29 years) Male Marathon and Half-Marathon
• Masters 30 (30-39 years) Male Marathon and Half-Marathon
• Masters 40 (40-49 years) Male Marathon and Half-Marathon
• Masters 50 (50-59 years) Male Marathon and Half-Marathon
• Masters 60 (60+ years) Male Marathon and Half-Marathon (minimum 5 participants per race)
• Elites Female (up to 39 years) Half-Marathon (minimum 3 participants per race)
• Masters Female (40+ years) Half-Marathon (minimum 3 participants per race)
Start/finish locations: Museu Joaquim Agostinho, Torres Vedras, Lisboa
Start times per category/distance: 09:00 for all categories
Cut-off times: Participants in the marathon must pass the split point by the time indicated by the organization or face disqualification
Bib pick-up time and location: Secretariado opens day before each stage from 17:00 to 19:00 and on race day from 07:30 to 09:30 at the start location
Registration deadline: Tuesday before each event
Surface types: Rural roads and trails, open to other vehicles
Course format: Marathon (~60 km) and Half-Marathon (~40 km) marked with chalk and arrows; GPX tracks provided
Race routes: Approximately 40 km for Half-Marathon and 60 km for Marathon on rural and trail terrain
Timing method: Time control by event controllers and Apedalar company with checkpoints along the route
Prizes: Mandatory presence of top 3 classified in each category at award ceremonies; final prizes awarded at date and location to be communicated
