    Granfondo Serra da Estrela 2027

    The 12th Granfondo Serra da Estrela takes place on 27 June 2027, starting in Manteigas and taking cyclists through the spectacular mountain landscape of Serra da Estrela.

    The event offers Granfondo and Mediofondo formats and is officially defined as a cyclotourism event rather than a competitive race. Participants can ride at their own pace, while electronic chip timing records their total time and selected timed segments. Overall, age-group, team and Mountain Prize classifications are also provided.

    Both distances start simultaneously at 08:30, with participants distributed across starting boxes. The event takes place on roads open to traffic, meaning all riders must follow the Highway Code and instructions from the organisation and security authorities.

    The event includes aid stations, medical support, mechanical assistance, a post-race lunch, electronic timing and a finisher medal for riders who complete their chosen route within the applicable time limit. An optional Premium Registration is also available, including the official event jersey and access to the front starting box.
