Event summary

The UCVNF Cycling Training Championship is a cycling event for children aged 2 to 16, taking place from May to September 2026 in Jesufrei, Avidos, and Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. It consists of three races on different terrains: a mostly dirt BTT/XCO circuit in Jesufrei, an asphalt road race in Avidos, and a mixed urban race in Vila Nova de Famalicão’s Devesa park.

Surface types:
• Jesufrei: 99% dirt terrain with some obstacles
• Avidos: fully asphalt circuit
• Vila Nova de Famalicão: mixed urban terrain

Course format: Closed circuits adapted to each age category

Prizes: Medals for top 3 per gender and category per race, trophies for top 3 overall per category, diplomas for participants completing all three races

Registrations must be made online via the Bestmove platform at www.besttickets.pt. You can register for the full championship (three races) or individual races. Registration closes at 18:00 on the Thursday before each race.
