Event summary
Trail Margens da Pateira 2026 takes place on June 20, 2026, in Fermentelos, Águeda, offering a trail running experience around the natural landscapes surrounding Pateira de Fermentelos, one of Portugal’s largest natural lagoons.
Organized by the Junta de Freguesia de Fermentelos and AFA – Associação Fermentelense de Assistência, the event includes a 27 km Trail Longo, a 17 km Trail Curto, a 10 km walk and a Trail Kids race, combining competition, nature and community atmosphere in a certified ATRP event.
The courses take participants through trails, rural paths and natural areas around the lagoon, with accessible but dynamic terrain, moderate technical sections and strong environmental awareness throughout the event.
