Ameal Half Marathon 2026

The 3rd Meia Maratona do Ameal takes place on September 27, 2026, in Coimbra, offering runners the opportunity to race on a fast and flat course designed for personal best performances.

Certified by both the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA) and World Athletics, the event includes a Half Marathon, a 10.3 km race and a 10 km walk through the roads of Taveiro, Ameal and Arzila. With only 66 meters of elevation gain across the half marathon course, the route combines speed, accessibility and scenic countryside views.

The event is part of the Circuito das Estrelas de Portugal and hosts the Coimbra District Half Marathon Championship (ADAC), attracting both competitive athletes and recreational participants. The organization anticipates ideal conditions for fast times and personal records on one of the flattest road courses in the region.
