Event summary
The 3rd Fúria Trail Sunset is a trail running event taking place on August 8-9, 2026, in Freixianda, Ourém. It features competitive timed races including a 21 km Trail Curto, 14 km Mini-Trail, and 10 km 1st Experience Trail, along with a non-competitive 10 km walk and several kids’ trail races ranging from 1 to 2 km.
The event is open to all athletes, federated or not, with age categories for men and women from Sub 23 to 60+. The courses are circular, starting and finishing at the ACRVN headquarters, and include technical trails with moderate difficulty and marked routes. The atmosphere combines competitive spirit with family-friendly activities, including kids’ races.
Participants will enjoy the scenic trails of the Vale do Nabão region, supported by local organizations and sponsors, promoting healthy habits and regional exposure.

Participants limit: 300 total
Surface types: Mostly paths, wide trails, and technical trails with ascents and descents
Course format: Circular routes
Race routes: Trail Curto 21 km, Mini-Trail 14 km, 1st Experience Trail 10 km, Walk approx. 10 km, Kids trails 1-2 km

Toilets and aid station placement:
• Aid stations at 7 km (solid and liquid), 14 km (liquid only), multiple water points
• Walk aid station at 5 km (solid and liquid)
• Final aid station with solids and liquids for all participants
Prizes: Finisher prizes and awards for top 3 overall men/women in each main race and kids races; team classifications for Trail Curto and Mini-Trail; awards for largest teams and oldest participants
