The 6th Trail São Gonçalo Madonu – Blind Edition is a trail running event taking place on November 8, 2026, in Carapeços, Barcelos. It features three activities: Trail Sprint (17 to 20 km), Trail Jovem (10 to 12 km), and a non-competitive Mystery Walk (6 to 9 km).
This edition introduces a unique concept where participants do not know the full course in advance. At decision points during the race, runners choose between two official route variants: a shorter, more demanding path with greater elevation or a longer, less steep, and more rolling path. This choice is final and part of the competitive strategy.
The event is open to participants aged 16 and older for the Trail Jovem and 6 to 90 years for the walk, with required authorization for minors. The Trail Sprint and Trail Jovem are timed and classified by age categories, while the walk is non-competitive. Jerseys are included with registration, and the race atmosphere emphasizes adventure, strategy, and discovery.
