• Trail Jovem/Mini-trail: approx. 10 km, +400 m elevation gain, considered high difficulty
• Trail Kids: distances 50 m to 1 km, max +50 m elevation

Timing method: Electronic chip timing (except Caminhada option)

Toilets and aid station placement:
• Multiple aid stations with liquids and solids on all courses
• Trail Longo: 4 aid stations plus 2 water points

How do I get to the event?

Ponte de Sor is located in the Portalegre district, Alto Alentejo. From the north, take A1 then A23, exit at Abrantes and continue to Ponte de Sor. From Lisbon, cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge towards Coruche, then Mora and Ponte de Sor. From the south, go via Évora, Mora, and Ponte de Sor.

Can children participate?

Yes, children aged 5 to 13 can participate in Trail Kids with a signed responsibility waiver by a legal guardian. Youth aged 14 and above can participate in the Trail Jovem and Mini-trail running options.

How do I register?

Registration is done online at https://www.omdceventos.com/evento/xii-trail-do-sor within the deadlines. The deadline is September 2, 2026, or until participant limits are reached. No registrations on race day.

What is the elevation gain of the races?

Trail Longo has approximately 1450 m positive elevation gain, Trail Curto about 900 m, Trail Jovem/Mini-trail about 400 m, and Trail Kids up to 50 m.

Is special equipment required?

Athletes must carry a mobile phone, thermal blanket, and whistle. Use of hydration systems and appropriate clothing for weather conditions is advised. Mandatory equipment will be checked before the start, with penalties for missing items.
