Start times per category/distance: 09:00 simultaneous start for 35 km and 55 km routes

Course format: Two routes: approximately 35 km (medium difficulty) and 55 km (medium/high difficulty), marked with signs and tapes

Race routes:
• 35 km route with one aid station and two control points
• 55 km route with two aid stations and four control points

Timing method: Time control via checkpoints and barcode scanning at finish; times are indicative and for event control only

Toilets and aid station placement: Aid stations at designated zones (ZA1 for 35 km; ZA1 and ZA2 for 55 km)

Prizes:
• Awards for top 3 individual males and females overall
• Awards for top 3 in each age category
• Awards for top 3 E-Bikes male and female
• Award for most numerous team (team name must match exactly on registrations)

How do I register for the event?

Registration is done online at www.apedalar.com. Payment is made via multibanco reference generated at registration.

Can teenagers participate?

Yes, participants aged 16 to 18 can only register for the 35 km route, with parental responsibility required at bib pick-up.

What equipment is mandatory?

A mountain bike (including Fat Bikes and Electric) is required, along with a certified helmet and gloves. A mobile phone must be active during the ride.

What are the start times?

Both 35 km and 55 km routes start simultaneously at 09:00.

Is there a cut-off time?

Yes, all participants must finish by 13:00, after which support is withdrawn.

    O IRON RIDER Castelo de Paiva é uma prova de resistência técnica em BTT realizada a 13 de setembro de 2026, em Castelo de Paiva. A prova consiste num circuito de aproximadamente 9 km com 300 metros de desnível positivo por volta, desafiando os participantes com trilhos exigentes, subidas intensas e descidas técnicas.

    A CobbleStone de Montemuro II é uma prova cronometrada de ciclismo de montanha de 6 km, realizada a 13 de setembro de 2026, na Serra de Montemuro, com partida na Rua da Igreja – Pinheiro e chegada na Aldeia de Cetos, Miradouro.

    Os participantes devem também participar numa volta social não competitiva de 40 km, com início às 9h na Aldeia de Cetos. O evento integra um fim de semana dedicado ao ciclismo de montanha e coincide com a tradicional Feira de Gado da Aldeia de Cetos, proporcionando um ambiente festivo com tradições locais e público presente.

    A prova está aberta a ciclistas com 18 anos ou mais, com ou sem licença da federação, permitindo bicicletas de estrada, BTT, gravel e elétricas (estas últimas sem classificação oficial). As categorias são divididas por género e faixas etárias.
