Event summary
The Wovenhood Guimarães is an endurance race inspired by the Backyard Ultra format, taking place on October 31, 2026, in Guimarães, Portugal. The challenge is simple but demanding: complete 5 km every hour within 60 minutes.
All participants start together at the beginning of each hour and must finish the 5 km loop before the hour ends. Those who finish early can rest and prepare for the next hour. The race continues hour after hour without a predefined total distance, and participants must complete each 5 km and be present at the next start to continue.
The event ends when only one participant remains, crowned the One Last Standing, who wins a monetary prize of 500€. Additionally, 25% of each registration fee supports the Guimarães Volunteer Firefighters, contributing to the local community.
