Charity Run - Portuguese League Against Cancer
Event summary
25 KM Pela Vida is a charity run created by Mariana Faria in partnership with the Portuguese League Against Cancer and the Portuguese Association for Leukemia and Lymphoma.
More than just a race, this event was created with the goal of bringing people together through sports to support a greater cause: helping families and individuals affected by cancer.
The idea is simple: run 25 km for life, but each participant can join in whatever way makes the most sense to them. Along the route, there will be meeting points every 5 km so that more people can join the run without pressure, without a competitive goal, and without having to complete the full distance.
The number 25 also has special significance: Mariana created this initiative to celebrate her 25th birthday by doing what she loves most—running—to help others.
All proceeds from registration fees and donations will go toward supporting the work carried out by the Portuguese League Against Cancer and the Portuguese Association for Leukemia and Lymphoma.
More than just times and rankings, this is a race about community, solidarity, and making a positive impact.
