The 45th Corrida do Tejo is a historic 10 km road race taking place on September 13, 2026, in Oeiras, Portugal. The race follows a scenic route along Avenida Marginal from Algés to Praia da Torre, offering a unique riverside running experience.
Open to all runners aged 18 and over, the event features staggered starts by pace groups to ensure a smooth race flow. With a 2-hour time limit, it welcomes a wide range of participants, from elite athletes to recreational runners. The race is organized by the Municipality of Oeiras and is one of Portugal’s oldest and most emblematic 10 km races.
Alongside the main race, there is a Kids Race event, making it a family-friendly weekend. The race atmosphere combines competitive spirit with community engagement and festive support along the course.

Cut-off times: 2 hours to complete the 10 km from each start wave
Bib pick-up time and location: September 11 and 12, 10:00–20:00, location to be defined
Participants limit: 10,000 athletes
Registration deadline: September 7, 2026, or until 10,000 participants are registered
