Start/finish locations: Praça 8 de Maio (Praça do Município), Alcanena

Start times per category/distance:
• 18:00 start for both Resistência 2h and Resistência 3h simultaneously
• 20:00 cut-off for starting laps in Resistência 2h
• 21:00 cut-off for starting laps in Resistência 3h

Cut-off times:
• Participants cannot start a new lap after 2h or 3h depending on category
• Participants inside the course at cut-off have 30 minutes to complete their lap

Bib pick-up time and location: 15:00 opening of secretariat on event day

Participants limit: 200 validated registrations

Surface types: Mixed urban (streets, squares, cobblestones) and dirt paths

Course format: Closed circuit of approximately 6 to 8 km

Race routes: Circuit through historic center and outskirts of Alcanena

Timing method: Electronic chip timing with radiofrequency detection

Registrations are made online at the A Pedalar website until August 29, 2026, or until 200 validated entries are reached. Payment is done via Multibanco, MB Way, or other methods provided.

Yes, the event is open to participants aged 12 and above (age as of 2026). Minors must submit a signed responsibility waiver by a guardian.

The course is a closed circuit of approximately 6 to 8 km, mixing urban streets, squares, cobblestones, and dirt paths around Alcanena.

Use of a rigid homologated helmet is mandatory, as well as front and rear lights on the bike or helmet since part of the race occurs at night.

The secretariat opens at 15:00 on race day for bib and chip pick-up at the start location in Praça 8 de Maio, Alcanena.
