17th HALF MARATHON ON THE SAND ANALICE SILVA

The XVII Meia Maratona na Areia Analice Silva is a running event taking place on June 14, 2026, at Nova Praia in Costa da Caparica. The race features two distances: a half marathon of 21.097 km and a 10 km run or walk.

The half marathon is open to individuals over 18 years old who are in good health and physically prepared for long efforts. The 10 km event is open to all individuals capable of participating, with a recommendation against participation by children under 10 years old. The race course is entirely on the sandy beach of Costa da Caparica, offering a unique running experience along long, fine sandy shores surrounded by dunes, woods, and marshes.

The event includes multiple age categories for men and women, as well as a category for athletes with disabilities. It is organized with support from the Câmara Municipal de Almada and sponsors, providing a competitive and inclusive atmosphere.
