Event summary
The III Triatlo da Cidade de Serpa takes place on June 20 and 21, 2026, combining two major national triathlon competitions in the Alentejo region. The event is organized by the Municipality of Serpa with technical support from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation.
The first day hosts the 4th stage of the Portuguese Triathlon Cup in the Super Sprint format, while the second day features the National Club Team Time Trial Championship in the Sprint distance. Both races start at Barragem da Lage and finish in the historic city of Serpa.
Athletes will swim in the waters of Barragem da Lage before cycling towards Serpa and finishing with a run through the city streets. With official federation support, electronic timing, prize money and national-level competition, the event is one of the most important triathlon weekends in southern Portugal.
