Event summary
Trail da Amizade 2026 is a trail running event taking place on December 5 and 6, 2026, in Santiago da Guarda, Ansião, Portugal. The event offers multiple distances including 50 km, 32 km, 19 km, 12 km, and a non-competitive 12 km walk, as well as a Trail Kids race with distances from 1,000 to 3,000 meters adjusted by age.
The event is open to athletes aged 4 and above, with parental authorization required for minors. It includes the TdA Challenge Extreme, a combined challenge of the 32 km and 50 km races. The Trail Longo and Trail Curto distances are part of the 6th Municipal Championship of Ansião and may also count towards regional, national, or international circuits.
Participants will experience technical trails, paths, and tracks through the scenic and cultural landscapes of Sicó and Santiago da Guarda. The event fosters a spirit of friendship, challenge, and discovery, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and respect for the environment.

Timing method: Electronic chip timing with disposable chips on bib
Toilets and aid station placement: Aid stations with liquids and solids at locations defined by organization; athletes must carry their own hydration containers
Prizes: Trophies for top 3 men and women in UTA 50k, TLA 32k, and TCA 19k general classification; trophies for top 5 in Mini Trail; trophies for top 5 in TCE 50k+32k combined; diplomas of merit for top 5 in each category; direct entry to next year’s race for diploma winners; prizes for 3 most numerous teams
Cancellation & refund policy: Cancellation deposit of 3€ can be paid at registration. Refund of registration fee is available if cancellation is notified by November 29, 2026. No refunds after this date except 50% refund if event is cancelled. Organization reserves the right to not refund in case of weather or other force majeure events.
