The 11th Trail do Zêzere is a trail running event taking place on November 14 and 15, 2026, in Ferreira do Zêzere, Portugal. It features multiple race distances including a Grande Trail of 49 km with 2646 m elevation gain, a Trail of 33 km with 1626 m elevation gain, a Pequeno Trail of 22 km with 910 m elevation gain, and a Mini Trail and Caminhada of 13 km with 388 m elevation gain.
The event is open to participants aged 12 and above depending on the race category, with specific age minimums for each distance. It includes competitive races, a Caminhada (walk), a kids’ race called Trailinho do Zêzere, and a Cãominhada (dog walk). The races are part of the Trail Running Championships of the Associação de Atletismo de Santarém and are certified by ITRA and ATRP.
The courses traverse trails and paths in the Serra region near the Zêzere River, starting at the Câmara Municipal and finishing at the Pavilhão Municipal of Ferreira do Zêzere. The event offers a festive atmosphere with a variety of race formats for all ages and abilities, including non-competitive and family-friendly activities.

Cancellation & refund policy: If the event is canceled by the organization before the registration deadline, a partial refund of 40% of the registration fee will be made. Refunds for participant cancellations due to medical reasons are available up to certain dates with decreasing percentages. No refunds after October 26, 2026. Transfers of registration to another athlete are allowed until November 8, 2026, with a fee.
