Event summary
The Grande Corrida de Ano Novo 2027 is a running event taking place on January 3, 2027, with start and finish at the iconic Praça do Comércio in Lisbon. It offers three distances: a 10 km race, a 5 km mini-race/walk, and a 400 m Kids Race.
The 10 km race is open to all runners aged 18 and over, while the 5 km walk is open to all ages, and the Kids Race is for children up to 12 years old. The course passes through some of Lisbon’s most famous streets and squares, including Rua do Ouro, Rua da Prata, Rossio, and Restauradores, providing a unique urban running experience.
The event has a festive atmosphere welcoming beginners and experienced runners alike, with trophies awarded to the top 5 overall male and female finishers in the 10 km race.

• 5km: Similar urban route finishing at Praça do Comércio
• Kids Race 400m: One lap around Praça do Comércio
Toilets and aid station placement:
• 10km: Water at 5km and finish
• 5km and Kids Race: Water at finish
Prizes: Trophy for top 5 overall male and female finishers in 10km race; prizes can be collected up to 30 days after the event at Xistarca
Timing method: Chip timing available only for the 10km race, chip included on bib and must not be folded
