Event summary
The 18th Maratona BTT LAAC-LAACAR is a mountain bike marathon taking place on October 18, 2026, in Aguada de Cima, Águeda, Portugal. The event features four race distances: 75 km Maratona Elite, 50 km Maratona Master, 40 km Meia Maratona, and 25 km Mini Maratona.
Open to both licensed (federated) and non-licensed participants, the race is part of the Regional XCM Cup of Centro and the XCM Championship of Centro. The courses traverse the trails of Serra do Caramulo and Moinho do Pisco, offering long climbs, thrilling descents, single tracks, streams, and rivers, set in a natural and challenging mountain environment.
The event combines competitive racing with a festive atmosphere, including traditional gastronomy such as roasted piglet and sparkling wine. It welcomes hundreds of mountain bikers and offers trophies for various categories and special awards for the largest team.

Course format: Four different routes with some coincident sections, all marked with ribbons, signs, and organization marshals
Toilets and aid station placement: Aid stations with solid and liquid supplies at organization-defined points along the course

• Trophies for top 3 overall in Maratona Elite, Maratona Master, and Meia Maratona
• Trophies for top 3 in each age category and class (CPT’s and Non-licensed)
• Trophy and ham for the largest team
• Trophies for top 3 in E-Bikes (40 km), Juniors, and Cadets
