February is one of the first big months of the trail running season in Portugal — offering a range of events from short technical loops to multi-stage mountain adventures. 🗓 3rd Trail Cabeços de São Miguel – 8 February 2026

📍 São Miguel do Rio Torto (Abrantes)

🗓 Trail da Cabeçal­ta — 22 February 2026

📍 Guarda

Distances:
• Long Trail – 20 km
• Short Trail – 10 km
• Walking – 10 km

A cold, fast and rugged mountain course typical of the Guarda region. Expect exposed terrain, sharp climbs and a great race to test early-season speed.

🗓 TAUT – Terras do Ancião Ultra Trail – 26–28 February 2026

One of Portugal’s most diverse trail events of the year, featuring a wide range of distances:
