Event summary
The 12th Famalicão Half Marathon returns on 18 October 2026, inviting runners of all levels to enjoy one of northern Portugal’s most popular road running events. Organised by Runporto with the support of the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, the event combines a certified half marathon with a 10 km race and a non-competitive 10 km walk.
Starting on Avenida Brasil and finishing near CITEVE, the courses take participants through the streets of Vila Nova de Famalicão and the surrounding areas, offering a varied urban route suitable for both competitive athletes and recreational participants.
Whether you’re aiming for a new personal best over 21.1 km, taking on the 10 km race or simply enjoying the walk, the event provides professional organisation, electronic timing, on-course support and a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
