Surface types: Urban roads and waterfront paths
Course format: 5 km single lap; 10 km two laps
Race routes:
• 5 km: Start at Praça da Califórnia, along the waterfront, turnaround at the first breakwater roundabout
• 10 km: Two laps with turnaround before the roundabout on the first lap and near Hotel Sana on the second lap
Timing method: Electronic chip timing (MyLaps system)
Toilets and aid station placement:
• Aid stations at km 2.5 and finish for 5 km
• Aid stations at km 5 and finish for 10 km
Prizes:
• 10 km: trophies for top 3 overall men and women, top 3 in each age category, top 3 teams, and top 3 athletes with disabilities
• 5 km: trophies for top 3 overall men and women
• Participation trophies and other prizes for all participants
