Event summary
The Triatlo de Vila Nova de Paiva takes place on August 22 and 23, 2026, in Touro, Vila Nova de Paiva, Viseu District. The event combines youth and adult multisport competitions, hosting the Northern Youth Championship, Northern Absolute Championship, Northern Individual Championship and several open races.
Organized by Associação Malhadinhas Clube in partnership with the Municipality of Vila Nova de Paiva and the Parish Council of Touro, with technical support from the Portuguese Triathlon Federation, the event offers Aquathlon, Triathlon and Duathlon races adapted to different age groups and experience levels.
The competitions take place around Parque Urbano do Touro and the Rio Côvo, featuring swimming, cycling and running courses on local roads and urban streets. Participants can compete individually or in relay teams in selected events, making the weekend suitable for both beginners and experienced multisport athletes.
