Your Next Start Line: 5 Running Events Coming This November in Portugal

There are two types of runners in November:

  1. Those who are in full “post-marathon recovery + blanket + tea” mode
  2. And those who, 48 hours after crossing the finish line, are already saying: “Sooo… what’s the next race?”

If you felt personally attacked, welcome.
If you’re still stretching your calves and swearing you’ll never run again… also welcome.
This list is for both of you.

Because November in Portugal is perfect for running: cooler weather, coastal mornings that smell like salt and coffee, and events with real community energy — not just bibs and timing mats.

Most of the races below are organized by people who are already connected with RaceFinder. People who reply. People who care. People who are building the same kind of running culture we believe in: human first, performance second.

So let’s dive in 👇

1) Nazaré International Half Marathon

📅 9 November · Nazaré · 21 km + shorter race options

Nazaré needs no introduction. Ocean breeze, fishing town charm, and the kind of race atmosphere that feels alive.
Known affectionately as the mother of half marathons in Portugal, this event is about tradition, community, and finishing with salty hair and a full heart.

Perfect for runners who love coastal views and races with history.

2) Tech Run

📅 9 November · Lisbon · 5 km & 10 km

Nazaré is heritage. Tech Run is vibe.
A casual, urban run through the Beato Innovation District — music, movement, sunshine, city energy.
This is the type of race where you run, finish, and immediately say, “Coffee?”

Perfect for: friends, beginners, and anyone who wants a run that feels good instead of intense.

3) Feed This Race

📅 15 November · Lisbon · Solidarity run

Here, the currency is not pace — it’s generosity.
Registration is done through food donations, later distributed to families in need.
No pressure. No stopwatch anxiety. Just community in motion.

Perfect if you want to run with purpose.

4) GRIFO24h

📅 15–16 November · Lisbon · 3h, 12h or 24h formats

This is where running meets philosophy.
You decide how long you run, how fast you go, when you rest, what this race means to you.
Solo, teams, relays — everything is about rhythm, endurance, and mindset.

Perfect for clubs, endurance seekers, or anyone who enjoys telling race stories that begin with, “well… it all started at 3am…”

5) Run & Walk for Diabetes Awareness

📅 16 November · Lisbon · 8 km run or 5 km walk

An inclusive event with a meaningful mission: raising awareness for diabetes prevention and care.
Accessible, friendly, local — and the perfect “back to routine” run after a big race weekend.

Perfect for all paces, families, and anyone who loves movement without pressure.

✨ So… What’s Your November Run?

November might not have the fireworks of marathon season.
But it has something even better: intention.

Running because it feels good.
Running to be with others.
Running to give back.
Running just to be out there.
