Organized by the Associação Cultural de Salir, in partnership with the Junta de Freguesia de Salir, and supported by the Municipality of Loulé and the Portuguese Triathlon Federation (FTP), this off-road duathlon combines running and mountain biking through the natural landscapes of the Algarve interior.The event includes two races:

Duatlo Cross de Salir (Sprint Distance) – 6th stage of the Algarve and Baixo Alentejo Absolute Championship.

The Zêzere Swimrun is a swimrun race taking place in 2026 in the Central Portugal region, specifically around the Castelo de Bode dam area. This event offers three race distances: Standard (24.7 km total), Sprint (18.2 km total), and Experience (7.1 km total), combining swimming and running segments.
The race is open to all participants and follows the scenic and challenging routes along the Grande Rota do Zêzere (GRZ), with views over the Castelo de Bode reservoir, crossing through the villages of Fontes and Souto. The race atmosphere is adventurous and demanding, held in late summer with warm temperatures perfect for swimming in fresh water. The finish line is at the Praia Fluvial da Aldeia do Mato, maintaining a magical and inspiring setting.
The event includes multiple transitions between swimming and running, with significant elevation gains, making it suitable for athletes seeking a technical and endurance challenge in a unique natural environment.
