Trails of Fogaceiros

The 5th edition of Trail Trilhos Romanos takes place on May 31, 2026, in Bárrio, Alcobaça, Portugal. Organized by Associação Trilhos Romanos, the event is a trail running competition set across natural trails and paths of the region, integrated into the local festivities.

The event includes several distances and formats: Trail Sprint (18 km), Mini-Trail (12 km), a non-competitive Walk (8.5 km) and a Kids Trail with age-adapted distances. The courses follow natural terrain with elevation gain, offering both competitive and recreational participation options.

The 3rd Rotary Run and Walk for Mental Health will take place on May 31, 2026, at Parque Urbano do Jamor in Cruz Quebrada. This event features an 8 km run and a 4 km walk, both starting in the morning.

The 8 km run is open to all participants aged 18 and over, while the 4 km walk is open to all ages. The run includes two laps of the course, and the walk consists of one lap, both starting near the canoeing lake and passing the cross-country track.

Participants will enjoy a supportive atmosphere with prizes awarded to the top finishers in the run, and the event supports several community rehabilitation and intervention organizations.

Corço Challenge is an obstacle race taking place on May 31, 2026, in the village of Grijó, Macedo de Cavaleiros. The race covers approximately 10 km with 25 natural and artificial obstacles, including wooden pyramids, walls, tires, mud puddles, and more.

Participants can choose between Elite and Fun categories, with Elite requiring strict obstacle completion and Fun allowing optional obstacle crossing with a minimum of five. The event welcomes individuals aged 14 and above, offering both competitive and recreational experiences.

This race combines physical challenge with teamwork and strategy in a natural setting, providing a unique and intense adventure for all participants.

The 20th Corrida das Pontes and 20th Corrida da Família will take place on May 31, 2026, in Coruche. The event features a 10 km certified road race and family runs/walks of 3 km and 5 to 8 km distances.

The Corrida das Pontes is open to runners aged 18 and above, divided into multiple age categories from juniors to veterans. The family run is open to all ages and is non-competitive, offering a welcoming atmosphere for participants of all levels.

Organized by the Municipality of Coruche with technical support from Trilho Perdido, the event offers prizes for individual and team performances in the main race, as well as commemorative gifts for all finishers and participants in the family run.
