Monte Gordo Triathlon
Event summary
The XXI Triatlo de Monte Gordo takes place on April 11 and 12, 2026, in Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António, Portugal. Organized by Lusitano Triatlo Clube and the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António with the support of the Portuguese Triathlon Federation, the event includes two main competitions: the European Elite Triathlon Cup (Sprint distance) on April 11 and the Portuguese Triathlon Cup on April 12.
The races follow the Sprint triathlon format, combining swimming in the sea, cycling on road and running along a flat coastal course. The event brings together elite international athletes as well as federated and non-federated participants competing in age group categories.
