It honors the memory of João Maltez, a beloved athlete from the local community, and includes a solidarity component supporting a child named David, who suffers from epilepsy and cerebral palsy.

For each registration in the race or walk, €1 will be donated to support David’s treatments and daily needs. Participants may also make an additional voluntary donation during the registration process.
