    TRÓIA SWIMRUN

    The Tróia Swimrun is a swimrun race held in the beautiful natural setting of the Tróia Peninsula, featuring golden sandy beaches about 17 km long and 1.5 km wide, surrounded by blue sea and the Sado River. This event perfectly embodies the spirit of swimrun, combining swimming and running through stunning landscapes.

    The race offers three distances: Standard (23.6 km total with 4.4 km swimming and 19.2 km running), Sprint (15.1 km total with 3.2 km swimming and 11.9 km running), and Experience (10.8 km total with 1.2 km swimming and 9.6 km running). The courses include multiple transitions and significant elevation gains, suitable for a broad range of participants.

    The event is open to all and includes a “Swimrun Kids” format to introduce younger athletes to the sport, creating a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere.     The XXXIX Triatlo de Oeiras takes place on May 9 and 10, 2026, in Oeiras, Portugal. Organized by the Portuguese Triathlon Federation with the support of Oeiras Municipality, the event includes several national championship races in the sprint triathlon format for Elite, Junior, Cadet, Age Group and Paratriathlon athletes, as well as an Open Race in the super-sprint format. The race consists of swimming at Praia da Torre, followed by a cycling segment along the Marginal road and a running segment also along the seafront in Oeiras.
