IRONMAN & TRITON: Two Ways to Experience Triathlon in Portugal

In October, Portugal becomes the epicentre of triathlon. From north to south, athletes from around the world travel to the country to experience what, for many, is the culmination of an entire season of training, discipline, and determination. In the same month, two iconic events — the IRONMAN Portugal (Full and 70.3, in Cascais) and the TRITON World Series (in Albufeira) — show that there’s more than one way to live the triathlon spirit.

This multi-day format allows athletes to focus on each discipline individually, with time to recover between stages, creating a more relaxed — but still highly competitive — atmosphere.
