31st Lezírias Race
The 31st Corrida das Lezírias is a running event taking place on March 1, 2026, in Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal. It features three race distances: the main 15.5 km race on asphalt, cobblestone, and dirt roads; a 5 km mini race on asphalt; and a short Corridinha race for children from 400 to 800 meters.
The event is open to all athletes, federated or not, with the 15.5 km race for participants aged 18 and older, the 5 km mini race for all ages above 10 (with guardian accompaniment for minors), and the Corridinha for children aged 6 to 13. It offers a festive and traditional atmosphere gathering thousands of runners from across the country.
The race courses include urban circuits, riverside paths, and rural terrains typical of the Lezírias region, providing varied and scenic landscapes. The event also incorporates team competitions and age-category trophies, making it inclusive for families, amateurs, and competitive runners alike.
