XIV PIÓDÃO TRAIL RUNNING

The Color Run David Garcia is a solidarity running event scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 15:00. It will take place at the Polidesportivo da Giesteira in São Sebastião da Giesteira, Évora.

The event offers two distances: a 13 km run and a 5 km walk, welcoming participants of different fitness levels. The total proceeds from the event will be donated entirely to support David Garcia, emphasizing its charitable nature.

“Pegadas em Família” is a non-competitive 5 km walking event taking place on April 11, 2026, in Abad, Pisão – Bajouca. The walk starts at 14:30 and follows trails and paths around Pisão.

The event is open to all participants prepared and equipped for the walk, with a registration limit of 100 people. The registration fee includes a light meal and a clay souvenir, making it a family-friendly and community-oriented activity.

The 2nd Corrida Solidária Exide, Suanfarma e Hit is a running event taking place on April 11, 2025, at the Hit Kagome factory in Castanheira do Ribatejo. It features a 10 km race, a 5 km walk, and a 500 m Kids Race.

The event is open to all participants, with the 10 km race requiring participants to be over 18 years old, and the Kids Race for children up to 12 years old. It supports the local fire department, making it a meaningful community solidarity event.

Participants will experience routes starting and finishing at the factory, with water stations along the course and a festive atmosphere including trophies for top finishers and medals for all finishers.

The Barreiro Machada Trail Noturno is a night trail running event taking place on April 11, 2026, in Vale de Zebro – Palhais, Barreiro, Portugal. It offers multiple distances including a 20 km long trail, a 13 km sprint trail, an 8 km walk, and a 1 km kids trail.

The event is open to all participants, with competitive races for the 20 km and 13 km trails and non-competitive options for the walk and kids trail. The trails feature technical paths with significant elevation gain, especially the long trail with 400 meters of positive elevation.

Organized by the Barreiro City Council in partnership with Decathlon and other sponsors, the event provides a unique experience running through the natural environment of the Mata Nacional da Machada, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental responsibility.
