Surface types: Rural paths, mountain trails, and public roads open to traffic

Course format: Three consecutive stages in line covering approximately 300 km total with 8000 m elevation gain

Race routes:
• Stage 1 (10 July): 117 km, 2000 m D+ from Vila do Conde to Vieira do Minho
• Stage 2 (11 July): 90 km, 2169 m D+ Vieira do Minho loop
• Stage 3 (12 July): 113 km, 2215 m D+ from Vieira do Minho to Vila do Conde

Timing method: Electronic chip timing with GPS tracking and mandatory GPS device usage

Toilets and aid station placement: Liquid and solid aid stations on course from 9:30 to 16:00; recovery meals at stage finishes; breakfast on days 11 and 12; dinner on days 10 and 11

Drop bag policy: Transport of one personal bag per athlete (max 30L) between stage finishes

Prizes: Jerseys for stage leaders and overall leaders, trophies for top 3 per category per stage and overall, finisher gifts, special award for best humor and fair play
