Urban Mile City of Ovar

Sunset Trail is a trail running and walking event taking place on May 9, 2026, at Herdade do Freixo do Meio in Foros de Vale Figueira, Évora. The event offers three distances: a long trail of approximately 18 km, a short trail of 12 km, and a 6 km walk.

The trails are designed for different levels of runners: the 18 km trail is for experienced runners aged 18 and over, the 12 km trail for active runners aged 16 and over, and the 6 km walk is open to all without competitive character. The courses traverse the Montado Alentejano landscape, providing varied terrain and natural beauty.

The event promotes personal challenge and a healthy lifestyle, with a festive atmosphere including a communal dinner after the race. Awards are given for top finishers in the trail races, and all finishers receive a finisher prize.

The 12th Trilho das Lampas takes place on May 9, 2026, in São João das Lampas, Sintra, Portugal. Organized by the Grupo de Dinamização Desportiva in partnership with the Sociedade Recreativa, Desportiva e Familiar de S. João das Lampas, this trail running event takes place in the natural surroundings of the Ribeira da Samarra basin, partly within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.

The event includes a Trail Long (20 km), a Trail Short (13 km) and a non-competitive Walk (13 km). The courses feature mixed terrain with elevation gain, combining natural trails and varied surfaces typical of the region.

The Ficalho Backyard Ultra is an ultra-distance running event taking place on May 9, 2026, in Vila Verde de Ficalho, Beja. The race consists of completing 6.706 km loops every hour, with the goal of completing as many loops as possible.

Open to runners aged 18 and over, the event challenges participants to endure multiple hours or even days, with a 75m elevation gain per loop. The winner is the last runner to complete a loop within the hour time limit.

This unique format tests endurance and strategy, creating a competitive and intense atmosphere where only the strongest prevail.

The Trilhos da Nexebra Trail – TNT® 2026 is a trail running event scheduled for May 9-10, 2026, in Ansião, Portugal. This event offers multiple distances, catering to various skill levels and preferences among trail runners.

Open to all participants without the need for a license, the trail features unique and scenic landscapes in the region, providing a challenging yet inspiring environment. The event atmosphere is vibrant and inclusive, designed to welcome both competitive runners and families.
