Trails of Good Journey

The VIII Trail Vila de Alegrete is a trail running event taking place on April 26, 2026, in Alegrete. It offers three main distances: Long Trail (31 km), Short Trail (20 km), and Mini Trail (12 km), along with a Kids Run for ages 5 to 15 on April 25.

The Skyrace® Serra dos Passos 2026 is a skyrunning event taking place on April 26, 2026, in Passos, Mirandela, Portugal. It features two competitive races: the Mini Skyrace® Serra dos Passos 10K and the Skyrace® Serra dos Passos 22K, certified by the International Skyrunning Federation (ISF).

The XVII Ultra Geira Via Nova Romana 2026 is a trail running event taking place on April 26, 2026, in Terras de Bouro, Portugal. It features two main races: the Ultra Geira Romana 50 km and the Trail Geira Romana 18 km, as well as a walking event.

The Ultra Geira Romana 50 km race starts at 08:00 from Campo do Gerês, Terras de Bouro, following part of the ancient Roman road connecting Bracara Augusta and Astúrica Augusta, finishing in Caldelas, Amares. The 18 km trail starts at 10:00 in S. Sebastião da Geira and finishes in Caldelas. Both races are part of national series: the Ultra Trail is part of the Circuito Nacional Ultra Serie 100, and the Trail is part of the Circuito Nacional Trail Sprint Serie 150.

The courses are mostly on trails and paths with significant elevation changes, offering a challenging mountain trail experience. The event includes organized transportation from the finish area to the start locations and provides a competitive atmosphere with age categories and team awards.

The II Trilhos da Boa Viagem is a trail running event taking place on April 26, 2026, starting at 09:00 in Moita, Setúbal. It offers three main distances: 23 km long trail, 12 km short trail, and a 10 km walk, plus a 500-meter kids’ fun run.

This event welcomes participants of all levels, including beginners and regular athletes, with specific age restrictions for the 12 km trail (minimum 14 years). It aims to promote sport, social interaction, and appreciation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Moita region, featuring mostly dirt paths and rural roads.

The race atmosphere is community-oriented and environmentally conscious, with marked routes and multiple aid stations. Awards are given to top finishers by gender and age categories, and there are prizes for the best teams in the 12 km and 23 km races.
