The VI Amazing Espite Trail

The 13th Benfeita Trail is a pure trail running event taking place on July 19, 2026, in the Aldeia de Xisto da Benfeita, Arganil. It features two races: a Short Trail of approximately 21 km and a Mini Trail of approximately 11 km.

The Short Trail is part of the District Trail Circuit – ADAC and the National Trail Sprint Circuit – ATRP, while the Mini Trail is part of the National Youth Trail Circuit – ATRP. The event is organized by the Trail Team / Athletics S. C. Povoense – Caracóis de Corrida with support from local authorities and partners.

Participants must be physically and mentally prepared for the specific distances and difficulties of the trails. The race offers a competitive atmosphere with classifications and prizes for overall and age categories, including team awards. The event starts at 9:00 AM near the Benfeita River Beach.

The 5ª Légua da Praia do Osso da Baleia is a running race scheduled for July 19, 2026, held at Praia do Osso da Baleia, Portugal. This event is part of the Circuito Meio Fundo ADAL and features a variety of distances to accommodate different age groups and competitive levels, including a main 5 km legua (league) race, mini legs for younger participants, and a family walk.

The race is open to all participants, whether affiliated with FPA, INATEL, or competing as popular runners either individually or in teams. The course is unique as it is entirely run on the beach sand, offering a scenic and challenging terrain. The event atmosphere is inclusive and family-friendly, with a schedule that includes children’s races starting from 500 meters to 2 km, and a mass participation walk for all ages.

The Bravos Challenge is an obstacle race taking place on July 18, 2026, in Caldas de São Jorge, Santa Maria da Feira. This 10 km race features natural obstacles that challenge and energize participants.

The event is open to senior male and female athletes, with registration closing on July 11, 2026. It offers a thrilling and dynamic race experience in a scenic location.

The Viseu OCR Police Challenge is an obstacle course race taking place on July 18, 2026, at Parque Urbano Radial de Santiago, Viseu. This event features a 5 km course with approximately 30 obstacles that test strength, endurance, balance, and coordination, including natural and pre-installed challenges involving water and mud.

The race is divided into two categories: ELITE, a competitive individual race starting at 09:00 with official timing and podium prizes, and FUN, a more playful category for beginners or those seeking enjoyment with friends and family, with staggered starts and no official timing. The event fosters a festive atmosphere of personal challenge and community.

As the final stage of the national OCR circuit TRICHALLENGE, the Viseu OCR Police Challenge offers exclusive obstacles and the opportunity to score points towards the national championship, making it a highlight for OCR athletes across Portugal.
