The Gravel Meeting is a gravel cycling event taking place on October 3-4, 2026, in the Alentejo and Ribatejo regions of Portugal. Participants can choose between two race distances on the Race Day: approximately 80 km with 1000 m elevation gain or approximately 140 km with 2000 m elevation gain.

The event is open to both licensed and non-licensed athletes aged 18 and over, with minors allowed only with parental authorization and accompaniment. It offers a semi-autonomous format emphasizing respect for nature and self-sufficiency, with limited official support points.

The two-day experience includes a Social Ride & Community Experience on day one and the competitive Race Day on day two, featuring scenic rural and natural landscapes. The atmosphere combines adventure, camaraderie, and sustainability, with additional social activities such as a gravel party and after-ride events.

The Taça Oeste XCM BTT 2026 is an amateur mountain bike marathon series organized by MR3eventus, taking place in Vimeiro-Lourinhã, Lisboa, with the first stage on October 4, 2026, starting at 09:00. The event features two distances: a Marathon of approximately 60 km and a Half Marathon of approximately 40 km, both on rural roads and trails.

Open to all participants aged 18 and over, with special provisions for under-18s with parental authorization. E-Bikes are allowed but only classified in the Marathon category. The competition includes multiple age categories for men and women, with a points system across four stages for overall classification.

The routes are marked with lime and red arrows, and participants must comply with traffic rules as the courses are open to other vehicles. The event emphasizes safety, mandatory helmet use, and adherence to regulations, creating a competitive yet amateur-friendly atmosphere.

The II Troféu de Resistência BTT de Alenquer – Inter Freguesias is a mountain bike endurance race series organized by the Municipality of Alenquer, taking place across multiple dates and locations in 2026. The event includes nine independent races held in various parishes within Alenquer, with the final race scheduled for October 4, 2026, in Cabanas do Chão.

The races feature 2-hour endurance formats on courses ranging from 4 to 7 km, primarily on dirt roads and single-tracks. The competition is open to all athletes aged 16 and above, both federated and non-federated, with categories for men, women, and e-bikes across different age groups.

This series promotes mountain biking in the region, offering a competitive yet inclusive atmosphere with individual race trophies and an overall trophy for the best cumulative performance across the series.
