Course format: Circular courses for all distances

• 50K: 48.8 km, 3,560 m elevation gain, passing 8 summits
• 30K: 30.2 km, 2,310 m elevation gain, passing 6 summits
• 20K: 19.5 km, 1,260 m elevation gain, passing 3 summits
• 13K: 12.9 km, 665 m elevation gain, no summits

Timing method: Electronic chip timing with mandatory validation at control points

Toilets and aid station placement: Aid stations with food and drinks; hand sanitizing may be required at aid stations

Prizes: Awards for top 3 in each category with minimum 5 participants; team classification based on best 3 male and female athletes

    Trails of the Heroes

    The Trilhos dos Heróis – Sunset Trail is a trail running event scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Vila Franca das Naves, Guarda, Portugal.
