    Organized by Floresta BTT, the MTB section of Grupo Desportivo e Recreativo da Floresta, the event is designed for riders aged 18 and over seeking a demanding GPS-based endurance challenge.

    The FBE consists of a single-stage circular route with two distance options: 90 km and 140 km, both starting and finishing at the Pavilhão Municipal Terras de Vermoim.

    The event is completed in full autonomy, with navigation exclusively via GPS (no course marking). It features significant elevation gain (over 2,000 m for the 90 km and over 3,500 m for the 140 km), providing a physically demanding experience across dirt roads and mountain terrain in the municipalities of Vila Nova de Famalicão, Guimarães, Felgueiras, Celorico de Basto, Fafe, and Taipas.

    There is no general or age-group classification, as the event does not have a competitive character. Participants who successfully complete their chosen distance receive a finisher award.
