Event summary

The UCVNF Cycling Training Championship is a cycling event for children aged 2 to 16, taking place from May to September 2026 in Jesufrei, Avidos, and Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. Can children participate?

Yes, the championship is open to children aged 2 to 16 years, divided into categories Sub-5 to Sub-17.

How to register?

Registrations must be made online via the Bestmove platform until 18:00 on the Thursday before each race. Participants must present identification and, if federated, a license copy at the race secretariat.

Is a helmet required?

Yes, the use of a homologated helmet is mandatory for all participants.

What are the race locations and dates?

The races take place on May 2, July 25, and September 12, 2026, in Jesufrei, Avidos, and Vila Nova de Famalicão respectively.

What happens in case of a bike failure during the race?

Athletes are allowed to change bikes only at the finish/assistance area; changing bikes elsewhere leads to disqualification.

    The Floresta Bike Endurance (FBE) 2026 is a non-competitive mountain bike endurance adventure event taking place on May 2, 2026, in Vermoim, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal.

    Organized by Floresta BTT, the MTB section of Grupo Desportivo e Recreativo da Floresta, the event is designed for riders aged 18 and over seeking a demanding GPS-based endurance challenge.

    The FBE consists of a single-stage circular route with two distance options: 90 km and 140 km, both starting and finishing at the Pavilhão Municipal Terras de Vermoim.

    The event is completed in full autonomy, with navigation exclusively via GPS (no course marking).
