The competitive distances include a 24 km trail with approximately 1125 m of positive elevation gain and a 15 km mini-trail with about 680 m of positive elevation gain. There is also an 8 km walk without competitive character.

The 6th edition of the LAAC Trail will take place on March 1, 2026, in Aguada de Cima, Águeda. This trail running event offers five distances: Long Trail, Short Trail, Mini Trail, Walk, and Kids Trail, catering to a wide range of participants.

Organized by the Gymnastic Sports Section of LAAC – Liga dos Amigos de Aguada de Cima, the race starts and finishes at the local gymnasium. It is part of the Trail Terras de Águeda Trophy, attracting trail runners across various age categories and levels.

The 12 km Manteigas – Penhas Douradas mountain race will take place on March 1, 2026, organized by the CCD dos Trabalhadores da Câmara Municipal de Manteigas with support from the local municipality. This event features a mountain running race of approximately 12 km with a predominantly uphill course, as well as a non-competitive 7 km walk.

The race is open to all participants, individual or collective, without distinction of gender or nationality, and includes multiple age categories from 18 years and above. The course starts in front of the Manteigas City Hall and finishes at the Largo do Vale Formoso in Penhas Douradas, with three aid stations along the route providing liquids and solids.

Participants can enjoy the challenging uphill terrain through the streets of Manteigas and forest roads leading to the meteorological observatory. The event also offers a festive atmosphere with awards, including monetary prizes, trophies, and participation gifts such as technical t-shirts and medals for runners, and t-shirts for walkers.
