The StepUp Trail: Nossa Senhora do Pranto is a competitive and recreational trail running event taking place on June 6, 2026, at Parque Abel Lacerda, Sabugosa, Tondela. The event offers three official races: an 8 km walk, a 10 km Mini Trail, and a 15 km Trail.

Open to participants aged 16 and older for the races (with parental authorization) and 5 and older for the walk, the event promotes physical activity, trail running practice, and connection with nature and local heritage. It is organized by StepUp Academy with local support.

The courses feature marked trails with hydration and nutrition stations, and the event includes symbolic prizes for the top three finishers in each category for the competitive distances.

The 3rd Edition of the Bracarvs Backyard Ultra will take place on June 6, 2026, in Vila Verde, at Praia Fluvial do Faial. This ultra running event features a loop course of 6.706 km that must be completed every hour.

Participants must complete each loop within one hour to continue, with a new start every hour. The winner is the last runner to complete a loop alone within the time limit. The race continues until only one runner remains or no one completes the loop in time.

The event is open to runners aged 18 to 90 years and offers personalized bibs, event t-shirts, light liquid and solid refreshments, and prizes including entry to the Portuguese national team for the world final in October 2026. The course includes trails, municipal roads, and asphalt with about 30 meters of positive elevation gain, marked with reflective signage for night running.

The 15th Wine and Pera Rocha Race is a running event taking place on June 6, 2026, in Bombarral, Portugal. This race features a main 10 km distance along with a series of youth races ranging from 150 meters to 3,000 meters, making it accessible to runners of all ages and levels.

The event is open to both licensed and non-licensed athletes, as well as adapted sport participants, with classification categories for various age groups including juniors, seniors, and veterans. It also serves as the District Road Championship, adding competitive significance for local athletes.

Participants will enjoy a race atmosphere supported by local community and organizations, with race start and finish near the Junta de Freguesia de Bombarral e Vale Covo. The event includes team competitions, with trophies awarded to the top collective teams in both the main race and youth races, fostering a festive and inclusive environment.

The Trail de São João da Vila is a trail running event scheduled for June 6, 2026, in Vila Franca do Campo, Azores. This 6th edition offers four distances: the 32 km TSJV Trail with 2000m elevation gain, the 20 km TSJV Trail Sprint with 700m elevation gain, the 11 km TSJV Mini Trail with 210m elevation gain, and an 11 km non-competitive Caminhada (walk).

Open to a wide range of participants, from experienced athletes to beginners and families, the race fosters a festive and communal spirit. It uniquely traverses all parishes of Vila Franca do Campo, culminating at Praia da Vinha d’Areia, ensuring a shared finish line for all.

Part of the São Miguel Island Trail Circuit, this event is inclusive with categories for juniors from 14 years old (Mini Trail) and adults 18+, with classifications by age, gender, and teams. The race atmosphere is celebratory and community-oriented, with opportunities for both competitive trail running and recreational walking.
