Event summary

The IX Lisboa Green Trail is a trail running event taking place on May 24, 2026, in the Monsanto Forest Park, Lisbon. The race features two main distances: TL (long trail) and TC (short trail), along with a walk and a dog-friendly run called Cãorrida.

Age categories/divisions:
• Kids I (up to 3 years) – 100 meters
• Kids II (4 to 7 years) – 200 meters
• Kids III (8 to 11 years) – 400 meters
• TL and TC Female: Seniors (up to 34), Veterans F35 (35-44), F45 (45-54), F55 (55-64), F65 (65+), University* (only TC)
• TL and TC Male: Seniors (up to 34), Veterans M35 (35-44), M45 (45-54), M55 (55-64), M65 (65+), University* (only TC)
• Caminhada open to participants 12 years and older

Surface types: Forest trails in Monsanto Park with sinuous paths and natural terrain

Timing method: Electronic chip included in bib for TL and TC; no chip for Caminhada

Toilets and aid station placement: Multiple aid stations with solid and liquid supplies; athletes must carry their own cups or reservoirs; waste disposal mandatory at designated points

Prizes: Awards for top 3 overall and age group finishers in TL and TC (male/female), special prize for team with most participants, and prizes for top 3 teams in TL and TC
