The Aveiro Spring Classic 2026 is a non-competitive cyclotourism event held on March 22, 2026, with start at 09:00 on Rua Cais da Fonte Nova (Aveiro) and finish at the same place.   • Licensing & Insurance:

    • Non-federated entries include daily personal-accident insurance (deductible applies).

    • Valid Portuguese Cycling Federation licenses accepted (except “Pedala”, “Família”, “Dirigente” — must enter as non-federated).

    • Foreign federation licenses are treated as non-federated for insurance purposes.

  • Bikes: Road, MTB, city, gravel, CX, etc. (No tandem or recumbent).
    E-bikes allowed (separate e-bike classification, no podium; email the organization to request e-bike wave).

  • Start Boxes: Waves of ~300 riders, assigned by payment order; sponsor box at the front.

  • Categories:

    • Men: Elite (19–29), Masters A (30–39), B (40–49), C (50–59), D (60–69), E (70+), Para-cycling*

    • Women: Elite (19–29), Masters A (30–39), B (40–49), C (50–59), D (60–69), Para-cycling

    • Absolute Men & Women
      *Para-cycling requires PFC registration and email confirmation.

  • Podium Ceremony: 13:30 at Cais da Fonte Nova, Aveiro

  • Safety: CE-approved helmet mandatory; open-traffic ride; obey all road rules; phone with battery required; event emergency numbers printed on the rider plate.

    1st Cycling Tour of Fornos de Algodres

    The I Passeio de Cicloturismo da Feira do Queijo da Serra da Estrela is a non-competitive cycling tour taking place on March 22, 2026, in Fornos de Algodres, Guarda. The event features a 50 km route starting and finishing at Bairro das Capelas, with a refreshment stop in the parish of Muxagata.
