Vila Chã Corrida de Montanha

The VII Trail Lama Solta will take place on 10 August 2025 in Louriçal, Pombal, offering two competitive trail races and a hike. The Trail Sprint (24 km) is part of the ADAL Trail Circuit and certified by ATRP, giving it official recognition within the national trail calendar. Organized by the Lama Solta team of the Associação Cultural Recreativa e Desportiva do Louriçal, the event crosses scenic and technical terrain between the villages of Louriçal and Almagreira. The course offers a mix of challenging trails, open countryside, and unique viewpoints. With the support of the Municipality of Pombal and local entities, this race combines quality logistics with a warm local atmosphere. It’s a great opportunity for trail lovers seeking certified races, hilly routes, and authentic rural charm.

The 12º Benfeita Trail takes place on 10 August 2025 in the picturesque Aldeia do Xisto da Benfeita, Arganil. This authentic mountain trail running event offers two distances: a Trail Longo (22 km), part of the Circuito Distrital de Trail Longo – ADAC and Circuito Nacional de Trail Sprint – ATRP, and a Mini Trail (11 km), part of the Circuito Nacional de Trail Jovem – ATRP.
It’s a race for both experienced trail runners and younger or less experienced athletes, combining rugged trails, forest paths, and the unique scenery of the Serra do Açor region. The event has a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, with local community support and a post-race celebration at the Praia Fluvial da Benfeita. Both races start and finish near the river beach, offering a refreshing post-run swim.

The 26ª Corrida da Baía de Monte Gordo takes place on 10 August 2025 in the beautiful Algarve coast, starting at Praia da Manta Rota and finishing at Praia de Monte Gordo. This 8 km beach race is run entirely on sand, offering a unique seaside experience. Open to both federated and non-federated athletes born in 2007 or earlier, it welcomes runners of all levels. The atmosphere blends competition and summer fun, with scenic coastal views and a friendly community spirit. In addition to the individual challenge, there are team classifications and a special intermediate sprint prize — the “Prémio Praias de Castro Marim” — for the first male and female to pass the Altura Beach checkpoint.
