Limestone Ultra Trail

Get ready for one of the most scenic and inclusive trail events on Portugal’s west coast — the Ultra Trail Run Santa Cruz 2025 (UTRSC), hosted by Turres Trail Clube with support from local municipalities. Taking place on July 26, this evening trail challenge offers 4 formats: a full 42 km Ultra Trail, a 22 km Long Trail, a 12 km Short Trail, and a 10 km non-competitive walk.

Set in coastal Santa Cruz, this trail adventure welcomes athletes of all levels, including juniors (16+ for short trail), and ensures a circular course with natural beauty, dirt roads, and well-marked paths. It’s a true celebration of community and endurance — under the summer sunset ✨🌌

The event offers something for everyone — a 10 km certified race, a shorter 3 km Farturas Run, and a non-competitive 3 km walk, all set in a vibrant summer atmosphere.

The 1st Légua do Pé N’Areia takes place on July 27, 2025, along the sandy shores of Praia da Vieira, in Vieira de Leiria, Portugal. This unique coastal running event is organized by Clube Industrial Desportivo Vieirense with support from the local municipality and athletics federation.

It features a 5km beach race entirely on sand, offering a truly challenging yet scenic experience by the ocean. Open to both federated and non-federated runners aged 18 and up, the race also includes a fun walk and children’s events, making it perfect for both competitors and families. 🏖️👟

This is an officially sanctioned event by the Leiria District Athletics Association — an excellent opportunity to race in a festive, yet demanding atmosphere.
