The 4th edition of the Granfondo Serra D’Ossa will take place on October 4, 2026, further establishing itself as one of the most iconic cycling events in the Alentejo region. Starting and finishing in the village of Alandroal, this challenge once again brings together cyclists from across Portugal and abroad, drawn by the unique combination of nature, heritage, and sporting challenge.

Set among vast, rolling landscapes, Serra d’Ossa provides an ideal backdrop for cycling, featuring demanding climbs, quiet roads, and a well-preserved natural environment. The Ibérico Bike Race 2026 is a mountain bike event taking place from September 4 to 6, 2026, in Montalegre, Portugal. It features an optional prologue on Friday followed by two timed race days, with classifications for solo riders and teams in various age and gender categories.

The race is open to all cyclists aged 18 and over, whether federated or not, with electric bikes allowed but classified separately. Participants must use GPS navigation with tracks provided by the organization. The event follows the regulations of the Portuguese Cycling Federation as an open race.

Riders will experience rural paths and trails in the Montalegre region, including public roads open to traffic, requiring strict adherence to traffic rules. The race offers a competitive atmosphere with leader jerseys, prizes, and classifications across multiple categories, including solo, pairs, and mixed teams.
