5ª Etapa - Resistência BTT BICIARCA

The São Jorge de Ponta a Ponta is an ultra trail running and multi-discipline event taking place on May 2, 2026, on the island of São Jorge in the Azores. It features a longitudinal crossing of the island from west to east, offering a unique challenge in a stunning natural setting.

Distances include Ultra Trail 80K, Ultra Marathon 64K, Marathon 30K, Trail Run 45K, Ultra Walk 64K, Walk 30K, MTB 90K, and a 2x32K relay. There is also a Trail Run Kids 1.5K for children. The event is open to individual participants and teams, attracting athletes from the Azores and beyond.

The race showcases incredible landscapes in the heart of the Azores, combining personal challenge with the beauty of the island’s terrain. It is organized by Aventour Azores Adventures with support from various sponsors and entities.

The Floresta Bike Endurance (FBE) 2026 is a non-competitive mountain bike endurance adventure event taking place on May 2, 2026, in Vermoim, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal.

Organized by Floresta BTT, the MTB section of Grupo Desportivo e Recreativo da Floresta, the event is designed for riders aged 18 and over seeking a demanding GPS-based endurance challenge.

The FBE consists of a single-stage circular route with two distance options: 90 km and 140 km, both starting and finishing at the Pavilhão Municipal Terras de Vermoim.

The event is completed in full autonomy, with navigation exclusively via GPS (no course marking). It features significant elevation gain (over 2,000 m for the 90 km and over 3,500 m for the 140 km), providing a physically demanding experience across dirt roads and mountain terrain in the municipalities of Vila Nova de Famalicão, Guimarães, Felgueiras, Celorico de Basto, Fafe, and Taipas.

There is no general or age-group classification, as the event does not have a competitive character. Participants who successfully complete their chosen distance receive a finisher award.

The Racenature E-Bikes is a three-day mountain bike event exclusively for electric bikes, taking place on May 1, 2, and 3, 2026, in Paredes de Coura, Portugal. The race consists of three stages with timed special tests (PECs) and GPS navigation, offering a unique adventure combining nature and active tourism.

Distances for each stage are approximately 57.3 km with 1723 m elevation gain, 65.8 km with 1920 m elevation gain, and 45.3 km with 1212 m elevation gain. The event is open to all cyclists aged 18 and over, federated or not, and follows the regulations of the Portuguese Cycling Federation as an open race.

Participants enjoy panoramic routes, natural trails, and rural paths with a premium organization, including support and safety measures, making it a challenging yet enjoyable experience for e-bike enthusiasts.

The II Passeio BTT – Por Trilhos da Pedra Aguda is a non-competitive mountain bike event taking place on May 3, 2026, in Peraboa, Covilhã, Castelo Branco. It offers two routes: a 20 km low difficulty course and a 55 km medium/high difficulty course.

The event is open to participants aged 14 and older, with a requirement for parental authorization for those under 18. Although non-competitive, finishers receive a medal, and participant times and order of arrival are recorded.

The ride features rural trails, public roads, and national and municipal roads, with support vehicles and multiple aid stations along the routes. The atmosphere is recreational and inclusive, suitable for mountain biking enthusiasts.
